We are currently constructing a ‘grand designs’ style house for a client in Pillaton, Cornwall. The property is three bedroomed, has a basement and separate garage building. The specification is very high with aluminium windows, oak floors, underfloor heating etc etc. More photos to follows as the build progresses!

We were asked by a previous client to construct them a simple three bay garage with a treated timber frame, powder coated steel sheet roof and concrete floor slab. Works were completed in a few days just as the weather improved!

We are half way through this development consisting of sixteen three bedroom oak framed cottages constructed with an English Oak frame and natural slate roof using local materials and all fabricated on site by us. We have also installed the services, conducted the groundworks and completed the landscaping.

A refurbishment project consisting of turning a redundant pub/café/managers flat building into four, four bedroom ‘fisherman style’ terrace cottages each spread over three floors. The lower ground floor comprises a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room opening onto a terrace. On the upper two floors there are four bedrooms and two wetrooms. We constructed this single garage with electric door, rear door and side window for a local family. It was traditionally constructed using blockwork which was rendered to match the adjoining house, had a cut roof together with natural slate covering with stone quoins, granite lintels and slate cills.

We constructed this 10m x 12m hanger building for a local helicopter pilot to house his helicopter and associated items.

The works consisted of a major ground works and excavation exercise, erection of a steel portal frame, clad on the roof with insulated steel sheets and on the walls with steel sheet, timber framework, insulation, plywood and finished with Western Red Cedar boarding. We also assisted with various specialist fit out items including the installation of an American sourced ‘Hydroswing’ door (see photos).

The owners of the Inny Vale Holiday Park needed a reception / office building at the main entrance to the park.

A timber frame was fabricated and erected together with a hand cut roof. The building was clad with treated timber, the roof was covered with natural slate and the internals fully insulated and finished to a high standard ready for immediate use.

We dismantled, disposed and replaced a timber balcony using treated timber (as the housebuilder had used untreated timber which had become rotten). The customer also requested some gates and additional fencing to ensure their balcony was child friendly.
